5 millions & 32 sites

Half a year has passed since the previous update and I decided to make another. Now we have *5 million images* of anime, manga and other content.
We have indexed *32 imageboards* and other wallpaper sites (the list).

Also added 200 000 images from *Gelbooru,* removed *Konachan & KoiNaruto.*

New imageboards come from The Booru Project where you can create your own booru for free.

Reindexed Gelbooru

Gelbooru has been reindexed, fixing not displayed thumbnails and added `86 730` new images, making `973 576` in total.

4 000 000 images, 25 imageboards

After slightly more than a month we have reached another milestone – *4 million indexed anime pictures* in our database.
We have indexed *25 imageboards* and other wallpaper sites (the list).

For those who like technical info: the database is 1.4 GiB in data and 650 MiB in index. The server now runs under FreeBSD 8 with 3 GiB of RAM.

Auto-skip identical images

Thanks to *someone* who've reminded me of this long-awaited feature in the todo list, identical images (by MD5) are now automatically excluded from search results.

You can always display them using a link on the search page and/or new `duplicates` modifier (see the API).

3 millions & 20 sites

Hey people! You know what? We now have more than *3 000 000* of indexed images – from *20 largest imageboards* out there!
Not so long ago we started with 500 000 images, then 1 mln., then 2 mln. and finally here we go with *3 mln.* – sounds exciting, eh?

Is this gonna continue? Well, I say yes, although I pretty much don't know other big boorus that can be indexed. Perhaps, except for e621.

So here is the full database statistics at the moment:

I believe this makes us *the largest search engine* which works on tagged images and thus is highly accurate. We index image boards which run Gelbooru, Danbooru or Shimmie software.

New site added

New site added – Anime Galleries! Currently only 7548 of its images but indexing is in progress.

Also added near 100 000 of Danbooru posts.

Btw, if you know a site with unique and interesting anime pictures (including doujinshi and stuff like that) feel free to post a request in the shoutbox and I'll consider adding it to the database.

Twenty times faster

Hey there! I have just moved the site to the new server: `Pentium-D 3 GHz, 1 GiB RAM` – now the image search will be happening *a lot* faster!

12 different imageboards, more than 2 million images including anime wallpapers, posts and other pictures – right here, in your hands!
